'Nozze d'Oro' Magnum Tenuta Regaleali - Tasca d'Almerita 2023

The Nozze d’Oro has in its DNA the celebration of happy and fruitful unions: it is a label dedicated by Count Giuseppe Tasca to his wife Franca, after half a century of life spent together, but it is also a wine that celebrates a union between two grape varieties, Inzolia and Sauvignon. A product that is born in a splendid landscape, that of the Tenuta Regaleali, from which all the know-how of a winery that has been dedicated to the production of great Sicilian wines for eight generations emerges, and which, over the decades, has become a reference point in the national and international wine scene.

The Tasca d’Almerita winery confirms itself as a master in uniting indigenous and international grape varieties, as in the blend that gives rise to the Nozze d’Oro, where Inzolia forms the backbone onto which 25% of Sauvignon is grafted. The grapes come from the Tenuta Regaleali and are cultivated in vineyards situated at an altitude ranging from 450 to 900 meters above sea level; after the harvest, the grapes ferment in stainless steel tanks, at a controlled temperature of 16-18 degrees, without undergoing malolactic fermentation, and, still in steel, they remain to refine on the lees for 4-5 months, before being bottled.

The Nozze d’Oro produced by the Tasca d’Almerita winery manifests itself in the glass with a decidedly bright and intense straw yellow color. Delightful are the aromas that envelop the nose, where fruit, including exotic fruit, manifests itself with the most intense notes, while, in the background, a hint of honey peeks through. On the palate, it is full-bodied, round, balanced, with a sip that awakens the senses thanks to its freshness. A label that you can always rely on, to choose for a night where good wine must not be missing.
