VikeVike

The VikeVike winery was born in Barbagia from the passion of Simone Sedilesu, a young winemaker from Mamoiada. Raised among the vineyards, Simone learned the art of winemaking from his father and grandfather, turning this heritage into a true professional vocation. After earning a degree in oenology and gaining experience abroad, he founded the winery in 2015, with the goal of surprising and engaging everyone who tastes his wines. VikeVike, which in the local dialect means “Look Look,” expresses the sense of wonder Simone wants to inspire in every glass.

VikeVike manages all its vineyards under certified organic practices, producing around 25,000 bottles annually. Each vineyard, called a “Ghirada,” represents a unique plot worked individually, respecting the characteristics and history of each soil. The vineyards, located between 500 and 900 meters above sea level on granitic soils, benefit from significant temperature swings that enhance freshness and tension in the wines. VikeVike’s philosophy is rooted in respect for the territory, aiming to produce wines that are sincere and true to their identity.

At the winery, VikeVike carries out spontaneous fermentations without added sulfites, using very gentle extractions to preserve drinkability, while aging takes place in large oak barrels. The wines aim to express a new vision of Barbagia: the Cannonau takes on a fresh, agile character, with soft tannins and marked acidity. Simone’s mission is to create wines that are fresh and inviting, without compromising the authenticity of their place of origin. Each wine tells the story of a single vineyard and the passion for artisanal winemaking, offering an authentic experience from the heart of Sardinia.
